Practice CATW # 2, The Women Who diedin the Waiting Room.

Generally, a hospital is a place where people expect ti get help abd treated their disease but not to neglect them. In"The Women Who died in the Waiting Room," by Jeneen Interland, she writes about how the mentally ill patients are ill treated in public emergency room. Like Emis Green, a mentally ill patient, died which was not seen by two sesurity officers and a nurse but a security camera did. It become a distrubing news in public. She also mention that due to poor care service in public hospital, less fortunate people are die in overcrowded emergency room. I completely agree with the writer that, " Insufficient out-patient service and a death of community base suppot, the least fortunate of them have ended up in already overtaxed emergency room."
Mentally people, since they don't think and speak properly, health care people take advantages of that. Eventhough, they are primary responsible to take care any patient. I work in a public hospital but not the mental hospital. Sometime I have to go a emergency room and whenever I go there I feel sad because I see patients are lie here and there with tried look in their faces and security officers were in a groups and chatting with each other and not doing their real duties. I see doctors and nurses look busy with one patient.
It is unfortunate if a patient is poor plus undocumented people because if he or she will not ablr to sue the hospitl care management if a person did not get proper care. I see a lots of cases like that because I am working in a hospital.. People who don't have paper they are likely to be neglected in term of good care because they are insecure to ask for help.
Hence, it is sad to hear the news like Eswin Green who died in a emergency room due to lack of  care of hopital staffs and security safty. Hospital's care managments has to do something to improve health care service and that people will not scare to go to hospital for cure.
